![]() ![]() a number of device driver identifier web sites will tell you exactly what the device is but don't use these sites to obtain the driver, they generally want install pay for driver update software, often full of malware and adware, so don't install from here. copy and paste to a google search and tag the search with the word driver. the character string displayed is unique for that device (PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV - ect - ect). right click on the device you want to update and click properties, select the details tab and change the property drop down box to hardware ids. go to start> control panel> system> device manager. if you look in the right places you will be able to update without it costing you a single penny. ![]() You should never have to pay for updated drivers.
